ഗാല്‍വനോമീറ്റര്‍ (Galvanometer)

ഒരു സെര്‍ക്കീട്ടിലെ നേരിയ കറന്റിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യവും ദിശയും മനസിലാക്കാനുള്ള ഉപകരണമാണ് ഗാല്‍വനോമീറ്റര്‍. ഇതിന്റെ സൂചി മധ്യഭാഗത്തുള്ള പൂജ്യം അങ്കനത്തിലായിരിക്കും. വൈദ്യുതി പ്രവഹിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കറന്റിന്റെ ദിശയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് സൂചി വലത്തോട്ടോ ഇടത്തോട്ടോ വിഭ്രംശിക്കുന്നു. കറന്റിന്റെ  അളവ് കൂടുമ്പോള്‍ വിഭ്രംശവും കൂടുന്നു.(Galvanometer is a device used to understand the direction and magnitude of even a small current. In the normal position the needle rests at zero. The needle will deflect the right or left depending on the direction of current. The deflection increases with the increase in current.)
